Yeah, this guy is some whiner hick. Very likely American or so oriented. Most of what he says is nonsense or a feature of his ignorance. Most Americans could only dream of how easy things are in Germany: free (+stipend) education pre-k to postdoc/trade master license, free/means tested premiums for healthcare. Cheap, fast, clean, safe, comprehensive public trans, including bullet trains. With the absorption of the East (economic equivalent to USA absorbing Mexico), things have gotten wobbly in some of the previous unparalleled virtues versus USA. But Germany doesn’t have the bullshit ideology of get-rich-quick or sink… and free markets, free speech, freedom, blablabla… Instead , there is still an ethic of cooperation and mutual state-individual responsibility.
