Whenever I read one of the thousands of "This BOOK changed my/his/her life..." I know I am in for instant disappointment. I know that it's likely some self-help clap-trap. And the result was not anything like a changed human being, it was about gaining wealth or power.

All you have to do is spend 5 minutes on LinkedIn to see how much this shows where we are: A giant self-preen, self-appreciation, self-promotion orgy.

"The result is Shopify"? Really? Is there no irony or self-awareness in this statement? Handy as Shopify is for budding eCommerce operations, have the standards for something really significant dropped to this level? Or is this guy just looking for a job?

Sorry, I know the answer: yes and probably yes.
