This sounds like sour grapes whining. Something Americans seem to only do nowadays and even elected a Whiner-in-Chief.
Stop living in the past and look up from your navel. Maybe there’s still hope that we can do what Germany does and have balanced trade with China rather than huge deficits and massive dependencies.
And all those fringe benefits that were mentioned.
You should also become just a tad more sophisticated with your terminology. All of western Europe is socialist. The Soviet Union was a derivative of Marxism, Leninism. Ignorance of your real enemy (like our capitalist fantasies vis a vis Communist China) is what you and the USA should learn.
