The fascinating thing about BitGo is the fact that its mere existence undermines almost the entire ideological framework of cryptocurrencies which promised the ability to “hold value” and use it without the need for intermediaries. Instead, it provides all the infrastructure, both technical, process and regulatory that are conventions for all other non-crypto “value stores”…currency cash, equity, FI, etc.

I haven’t taken the temperature on BitGo with the chief ideologues and promoters, activists, gurus, marketing geniuses, and other assorted crypto crowd, but it would be interesting to have their takes.
