I can't help point out that "it's fortunate that [we live] in a world of free choice" and I assume you would like it to remain that way.

I assume you did understand the point of my response: that is exactly what could change with the eclipse of the system we live in, the western liberal democratic one. And that crypto could play a big part in that world ceasing to exist or be seriously compromised.

As one of my least favorite people on earth and a self-described "crypto-maximalist" (Peter Thiel) recently pondered and I agree: Crypto very likely is a Chinese financial weapon. Yup. And we may risk losing even more than just the plaything of crypto.
