My American history is excellent. Of course, if you have anything specific rather than just spewing implications without reference... give it a try. Yes, it may end up looking silly, but we all learn that way sometimes.

Noam Chomsky is a great Linguistics thinker and I read him both in my linguistics classes and as part of a compiler design class in computer science.

However, he is mostly a nut when it comes to human affairs such as politics. And, I say nut, because there are occasional correct and provable problems he has (not uniquely, however) pointed out or been a big backer of. But then he's living on planet-nowhere with this sort of remark and it can just be thrown away. This is the example of a broken clock being wrong most of the time.

This is his lunatic self. I recommend backing away. Slowly.
