I agree pretty much with all you say.
But I hate vagueness.
"...stop reinforcing the myth of overnight millionaires, and start holding the archetypes of our current financial system accountable for their actions"
I think you should reverse the volume of words you spend on rehashing what likely most readers of your posts already know.
Here's how I would end your piece.... or maybe begin it:
1. Vote always (primaries, school board, etc.) and always for a Democrat
2. Learn to spread the word (most of all to those who bleat on against "socialism") that the car they want most (Merc, BMW, Audi, Porsche, VW) is made by the most unionized socialist country on earth that balances its budget frequently, out-exports the USA occasionally, has a balance of trade with China (vs. USA a massive deficit), gets fabulous means-tested premium-based medical care, 100% paid education to all levels, 6 weeks paid vacation, all paid sick days, 9-12 months paid maternity leave, 6 months paid paternity leave, etc. and has a much smaller population, no natural resources to speak of, and is the size of Montana.
Oh, and pretty high taxes that fund the best infrastructure on earth, among other things.
