And, if you nominate Germany under Angela Merkel, I would agree.. But she would have to take on a lot more complexity, but she'd probably be up to it and Germany is in the top 6 most liberal democracies in the world.

However, that's not going to happen. We all would love to have everything like children. The problem is the world is not that way.

So unless you can suggest another power to step up and (however imperfectly) do a similar job, you're going to have to make miracles happen for the world not to become EVEN WORSE than it is.

Reality, as they say, sucks. Wishing doesn't make it better. So suggest a better possibility.
